Trimo reports about encouraging business performance in the first half of 2016

Trebnje, 11 August 2016 – After the successful transaction by Innova Capital and the appointment of the new management team in April this year Trimo is reporting about the encouraging business performance in the first half of 2016. In this period, the company generated EUR 45.9 million of net sales revenue, EUR 3 million of operating profit (EBIT) and EBITDA in the amount of EUR 4.1 million. These numbers are considerably exceeding the planned indicators as well as business results of Trimo in the first half of 2015. Trimo Group generated net sales revenue in the amount of EUR 64.9 mio in the first half of 2016. Due to a higher production and sales Trimo has increased employment in production and is still looking for new production employees.


Business performance of Trimo in the first half of 2016 shows promising trends both relative to plan as well as relative to the last year performance. Namely, in the first half of 2016 Trimo generated almost 46 mio EUR of net sales revenues which is a 26 % increase relative to the same period last year. EBIT reached in the first half of 2016 (3 mio EUR) is 58 % above the EBIT from the same period last year. EBITDA (4.1 mio) is also exceeding the last year result (for 39 %).

In terms of contractual sales (order take in) the results are also encouraging. Contractual sales of Trimo in the first half of 2016 amounted to EUR 48.3 mio, which is 10 % higher compared to the same period last year. Especially positive trend was recorded by Trimoterm fireproof roofs and facades. The total contractual sales of Trimoterm in the first half of 2016 reached EUR 32.1 mio which is 59 % above the last year result.

In the first half of 2016 Trimo also secured important reference projects including Lego in Mexico, Mercedes in Switzerland, Nike in Belgium, P&G in Hungary, Flex-Malvar in Singapur, Coca Cola and Bristol Aerospace Center in UK, extension of Plasta production facility in Slovenia and many others.
