Trimo reports about encouraging business performance in the first half of 2016
Business performance of Trimo in the first half of 2016 shows promising trends both relative to plan as well as relative to the last year performance. Namely, in the first half of 2016 Trimo generated almost 46 mio EUR of net sales revenues which is a 26 % increase relative to the same period last year. EBIT reached in the first half of 2016 (3 mio EUR) is 58 % above the EBIT from the same period last year. EBITDA (4.1 mio) is also exceeding the last year result (for 39 %).
In terms of contractual sales (order take in) the results are also encouraging. Contractual sales of Trimo in the first half of 2016 amounted to EUR 48.3 mio, which is 10 % higher compared to the same period last year. Especially positive trend was recorded by Trimoterm fireproof roofs and facades. The total contractual sales of Trimoterm in the first half of 2016 reached EUR 32.1 mio which is 59 % above the last year result.
Maciej Radomski, CEO of Trimo, is enthusiastic about the company’s business performance: “Four months ago the new management team and employees started a new era for Trimo. The transaction allowed stronger financial foundations for the company. We are happy to see that our priority measures are bringing results and are keeping our focusing on growing the company. D ue to a higher production and sales we have increased employment in production and we are still looking for new production employees. Together with Innova Capital, our objective is to re-establish Trimo as one of the leading companies in the sector of panels and high value added façade solutions.”
In the first half of 2016 Trimo also secured important reference projects including Lego in Mexico, Mercedes in Switzerland, Nike in Belgium, P&G in Hungary, Flex-Malvar in Singapur, Coca Cola and Bristol Aerospace Center in UK, extension of Plasta production facility in Slovenia and many others.
