Being socially responsible is integral to what Trimo does. It aims to make a positive difference to the communities in which it operates and seeks ways to assist them. It prioritises the hiring and development of local people and work with local supply chains where it is practical to do so.

Trimo is aware of its responsibility towards the social environment and this is reflected in the various forms of cooperation with the local community and beyond. Trimo engages with the community through sponsorships and donations, which enable the operation of various non-profit organizations and associations.

In particular Trimo’s support helps promote sports and education, the realisation of humanitarian activities and the strengthening of cultural creativity. It also supports youth projects and cooperates with the Association of Pensioners; organising meetings with former employees and thus contributing to improving the quality of life and to the development of the social environment. For a number of years, Trimo has been the main sponsor of the Trimo Trebnje Handball Club.
