We are delighted that our sustainability work has again been awarded the EcoVadis Silver rating.

This means Trimo is rated in the top 20% of suppliers within our industry, as assessed by EcoVadis, the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings. But what matters, even more, we have made an improvement in the overall score from last year and going from 80th to 85th percentile rank, which shows how Trimo´s score compares to other companies' scores.

Since its founding in 2007, EcoVadis has grown to become the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, creating a global network of more than 75,000 rated companies.

Their assessments focus on 21 issues which are grouped into 4 categories - Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, Sustainable Procurement. The 21 issues or criteria are based upon international sustainability standards such as the Global Compact Principles, the International Labour Organization conventions, the Global Reporting Initiative standard, the ISO 26000 standard, and the CERES principles.

Commitment to sustainability holds paramount importance within our company and having the companies with the same priority in our supply chain makes a great advantage for us. The fact that two-thirds of our supplied materials by weight are from the companies assessed for their sustainability performance is an indicator they too put a lot of effort to improve their sustainability practices and that our industry is taking steps towards a more sustainable future.

We are proud of this achievement as it not only highlights our efforts towards establishing more sustainable practices within our company but also within its environment and supply chain.
